Scott Lo 羅仕翔

Scott is the PR and Communication manager of Toro Ltd, and coordinator of MobileMonday Taipei. He has been working in various fields, from manufacturing, translation to software, and worked as special assistant,sales manager, project manager and PR/Communication manager . He has worked for companies in NYC, Minneapolis, Seattle and Taipei. He holds a degree in Spanish literature from the Fujen University in Taipei, Taiwan.

Tzuhan Schee å¾å­æ¶µ

Though a college dropout, Tzuhan Schee servers as a project manager and lead the core Web 2.0 taskforce in Academia Sinica. Best known for his pioneering and consolidating efforts in bringing blog, moblog, podcast, wiki, wikipedia and citizen journalism to Taiwan, Schee has received much recognition for his role as a “smartmobs” evangelist focused on web services. Before that, he worked in leading web companies like Yam Digital Technologies and Yahoo in Taipei.

Rio Kao 高芬芳

Rio Kao is the Interactive Marketing Director of AP-MOBILE Inc., and has
been dedicated in providing mobile services and mobile marketing since
2000. Rio Kao co-founded AP-MOBILE with 2 colleagues, and now AP-MOBILE
has 20 staff. Before AP-MOBILE, Rio Kao worked as Marketing Manager of
iDini Corp. Taiwan, a privately held company whose HQ based in San Jose.
Before working in telecom industry, Rio Kao joined DRAMeXchange.com and
built this e-marketplace with technical team. Before DRAMeXchange, Rio
Kao worked in IPS Department of Acer. Rio Kao holds a degree in
Advertising from National Chengchi University.

Chung-Wei Liang æ¢ä¸­å‰

For the last 3 years in Institute for Information Industry as the senior consultant in IDEAS (one of the biggest insititute in III which focus on the innovation), Liang’s job is to watch the updated innovation trends in Information technology and Internet, study the new web startups in Taiwan and overseas. Since 2006 consistantly watch and study the development of Taiwan next web (web 2.0) startups and work with the entrepreneurs to improve their product and help them to build up company. In the post-bubble years used to be the senior executive in major Asian Internet Portals, which are Lycosasia.com(in Shanghai) and Yam.com(Taipei), all ended with the Internet market crash. Also been the Editor-in-chief of major magazine titles including Esquire and Playboy.

Christine Yang 楊幸娟

Christine has many years of experience in web & mobile internet industries. Mainly focus on: Online product/marketing strategy development, web/MI user interface and application development. She is particularly watching the trend of web 2.0, social networking, mobile applications, online platfom, gadgets & widgets. Christine co-founded Chili Consulting Corp in 2008. Chili Consulting is a micro venture capital and incubator which offering seed fund and mentoring program to internet/mobile internet startups. Previous Chili Consulting Corp, she has been working for Taiwan Mobile as a mobile portal manager in Value-Added Service Division, Yam Digital as a project manager and senior producer, Lycos Asia as a producer, and Synnex as a marketing planner.

Yi-Kai Lin 林義凱

Yi-Kai is the Managing Director of FON Wireless Taiwan, Yi-Kai has previously worked for Taiwan’s leading network device producer Accton Technology and served as VP Marketing for Accton’s China operation. Before moving to China in 2005,Yi-Kai held different position for marketing and management in Taiwan’s several media, software and internet companies. Yi-Kai co-founded Taiwan’s first open source software integrator Cyberwork Solution in 2000 and served as operational head, he was also the founding member of Taiwan’s non-incumbent ISP Neto Corp in 1998 and helped company designing business strategies to compete with incumbent operators. Yi-Kai holds degree in Liberal Arts from Taiwan University and is an active writer of business topics and literature for years.

Dominic Grant éƒ­æ±æ°‘

Dominic Grant is a senior equity analyst at Macquarie Bank (Taiwan branch), responsible for covering the telecom hardware and services sector. He has had a special focus on the handset manufacturers for the past five years and runs the team’s global handset model. Dominic has worked in similar roles at Merrill Lynch, Peregrine and SG Warburg in a career spanning over 12 years in Taiwan. Dominic has a BSc (Hons) in Physical Geography from Reading University, UK, and a postgraduate diploma in Mandarin Chinese from TVU, UK, as well as attending language school in Grenoble, France, and winning a scholarship to NTNU, Taiwan.

Laurent Renard ç¾…æ–‡

Laurent is the co-founder and CEO of Toro Ltd. He has been working in the Smart Card industry in Asia-Pacific for 3 years at FIME (www.fime.com, world leader for IC-card certification, division of Orange Business Services). Before that, he was working at NODE (www.thenodecompany.com, a strategy & innovation management consulting firm) in Spain and France. Laurent holds degrees from Ecole Centrale Paris (ECP), and from Strasbourg Graduate School of Management (IECS), France.

Grégory Puente-Castan 葛雷利

Grégory is the co-founder and CTO of Toro Ltd. He has been working in the Smart Card industry in Asia-Pacific for 5 years at FIME (www.fime.com world leader for secure transaction certification). Before that, he was working at TELINDUS a leader in Telecommunication Network Engineering.
Gregory holds a degree from the Civil Engineering School of Paris (ESTP).

Nicolas Sauvage 賴濟緣

Nicolas joined Open-Plug in January 2006 as Sales Director Asia, to look after the business development and operations in Asia. He previously worked in TTPCom for 5 years in business development and management roles frequently working with Asian accounts and prospects. He also worked in British Telecom, Ipswich and Siemens, Munich. Nicolas holds an MSc from King’s College London in Telecommunications, a ‘Diplome d’Ingenieur’ from ISEN in France and is an alumni of the London Business School.
